Mercer University - Be the Bear

Make It Mercer

Saturday, April 12

Exclusively for accepted students and their families, Make It Mercer brings together many new Mercerians for one extraordinary day on campus.

You and two guests are invited to join us for a campus visit unlike any other, featuring:

  • Kick-off celebration with Mercer University President William D. Underwood and other special guests
  • Roommate speed-dating
  • Scholarship recognition ceremony
  • Fun Mercer swag!

Mercer Bears serve others in a variety of ways, and we're inviting you to participate in a service project!
During registration at Make It Mercer on April 12, we will be collecting items to donate to the Rescue Mission of Middle Georgia. If you are able, we invite you to bring either a canned or dry good with you this weekend. Any donations are greatly appreciated!

(Canned goods may include items such as canned vegetables, fruits, soups, etc., and dry goods may include items such as paper towels, coffee, flour, etc.)

It's the party of the year, and you're invited!

While you're on campus, be sure to explore all of the fun hot spots in Mercer Village and stop by the bookstore to stock up on Mercer gear for you and your family!

Then head over to Tatnall Square Park for BEARSTOCK 2014. Our annual free outdoor music festival is a favorite tradition of Mercer students and features a variety of bands to suit most every taste!

(Bring your blankets and camp chairs and enjoy an evening of live music in the park!)

We have a full day planned for you, too.

Hear from the parents of current Mercer students, and ask them all of your questions in an open-forum discussion. Learn everything you need to know about Student Support Services—dedicated to your student’s academic, health, social, and psychological well-being—in fun, short, interactive sessions.
