During the Spring semester of my freshman year, it snowed in Macon. A lot of students out and about on campus, and I went to the UC hill with several others. I 'borrowed' a tray from the UC food court and used it as a sled. It was great to have the Mercer Community spontaneously come together and have fun in the snow. |

My best Mercer Moment was the whole homecoming game experience. The night before the game we had awesome skits put on by our own students followed by fireworks. It was such an incredible night! The next day there was a cookout before the game. You could feel the excitement in the air! Then… the game! The arena was completely full. Alumni came back to Mercer from all over the country. It was such an awesome experience to see the current student body and the student body of another time celebrating in unity a tradition of excellence. |
| Favorite Campus Hangout: |
Connell Student Center |
| Favorite Off-Campus Activity: |

| Advice to New Students: |
My advice to new students would be to enjoy the college experience. Dive head-first into the many things Mercer has to offer. Time as a college student is limited. I definitely encourage everyone to thoroughly enjoy the time that they have getting to make connections with other students and professors while being completely immersed in the opportunities that Mercer has to offer. Plain and simple… BE THE BEAR! |

Hmm, for me, Mercer no longer applies strictly to the campus. The student body, the true heart of Mercer, has continually shown me that the opportunities each of us are afforded don't stop within the borders of Campus. From visitng Bangkok, Thailand to planning backpacking trips around Western Europe, I've learned that Mercer student's are passionate about what they do and what they want. |
